Colorado State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)

SHIP helps people navigate the complex aspects of Medicare with one-on-one counseling and assistance, along with group education. Volunteer and paid counselors are available for free services throughout the year.

Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP)

SMP counselors empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries and their families and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse. The counselors keep informed of current scams and educate the public. They also report cases to the state level for further investigation.
